Naranja Spain real estate Costa Blanca, Spain

Analysis of women in real estate, Spain 8 Jan 2020

This new year 2020 the Naranja Spain team wants to start with optimism talking about the role of women in real estate.

The importance of talking about women and their role in our society, is not because it is a trend topic, but because it is essential to raise awareness about everything that is not in balance as it is also to talk about poverty, imbalance economic, environmental problems and everything around it.

Did you know that Naranja Spain real estate is led and coordinated by women?

We are a team of women in a world that has mostly been and continues to be led by men, but times are changing and women are a great addition.

It is true that women are bringing more effective forms of work and incorporating improvements in business organization. Note the empathy with the client, in our case the buyer or seller of a home. That is why more than half of the transactions in the real estate sector in Spain are closed by women.

The real estate field is very broad and there are many areas of work such as; building, developers, real estate agencies, sales portals, law, marketing, admin etc. And the presence of women increases in each of them.

Where we still have a lot of field to conquer is on management positions. In 2019 we still close it with a figure that is too low; women represent 9% of management positions in Spain. But this does not discourage us, quite the opposite, little by little we are growing.

And that's why we want to mention the most influential women in the real estate sector according to an article published by citibox:

  • Anna Gener

A great woman who influences more than ever the real estate sector and one of the partners of WIRE. She is one of the greatest defenders of the role of women in the management positions of companies, she always defends it and we love it since we are also a team led and managed by women.

  • Carmina Ganyet

General Financial Director of Colonial, leader of the office market in Europe. She is part of the Board of Directors of Société Foncière Lyonnaise.

  • Cristina Calvo

President of WIRES, expert in Real Estate Law, advises financial institutions, funds and large Spanish and international real estate developers. Proud that she has received the Client Choice Award for the Best Lawyer in Real Estate Law in Spain.

  • Beatriz Toribio

Director of studies and public affairs at Fotocasa, of the Schibsted Classified Media Group. It is the visible face of Fotocasa in the media. An expert in real estate issues.

  • Cristina Ontoso

She is currently in charge of the Marketing, Communication and Customer Service departments within Vía Célere. The digitalization of the real estate sector and how to adapt the market to the needs of customers are their bets within Vía Célere.

And for south of Costa Blanca in Guardamar del Segura, we find ourselves, Naranja Spain real estate. Our strong point is undoubtedly the relationship of trust and understanding that we create with our clients. Because having a great knowledge of the real estate market is not the only important thing.

We hope that the role of women for 2020 continues growing n in all social aspects to live in a more balanced and prosperous community.

Do not forget that if you are looking to buy, sell a property or clear and concise real estate advice on investments in all types of homes on the Alicante coast, we are your team: Inmobiliaria Naranja Spain.
