You know that as in fashion, in the decoration world we also talk about trends. The girls of the Naranja Spain Real Estate, love this topic and always make sure to stay updated when it comes to interior designing and latest trends.

If you have just bought a house in Spain and want to decorate it to your liking or simply want to give your home a new look, point out the decoration trends for 2020.

Do you want to know the decoration trends that 2020 brings us?

  • Walls

Multicolor: the tendency of the walls in different colors is maintained and the painted ceilings are also included in the equation. The tones to paint the walls turn to the pastels in pink, mint and sky blue. Also the moss green and the yellow curry is maintained.

Textures and materials: a wall of different texture or different finish will also be played in the combination of colors.

  • Illumination:

Curves, no doubt is the highlight element. The curves overcome the lighting systems and we think is a fantastic way to provide movement.

  • Star colors:

Beige is undoubtedly the color trend for 2020.

From the beige sand shade to the nutmeg. The rest of neutral colors, white, black and gray will also be present.

And the color to give the touch, it will be orange, perfect for us in Naranja Spain (Naranja means orange in Spanish), so great! There is no specific shade of orange, you will see it in armchairs, cushions, carpets, and even in lighting.

  • Upholstery: velvet

In upholstery we have velvet as the most prominent material and used by top design firms. Also upholstered in wool and thick knitted linen is going to be a must.

  • Metal is the key element that you can introduce in your home in different ways; added in furniture, decor pieces and in detailing such as floors and walls.

With no doubt trends are marked by the 60s, a period of decorative inspiration that we felt most at the latest decoration fair we went to.

Finally, we want to mention the street trends in decoration, we give the star of innovation to Ikea, for betting on technological furniture that comes with alarm, music and wireless chargers built into its furniture. Undoubtedly a first step to the great union that decoration and technology are creating.
