Holy Week in Guardamar del Segura 28 Mar 2018

For the processions and Nazarenes lovers and catholic worshipers their most beloved celebrations arrived: The Holy week. A hispanic festivity celebrated for centuries. For Jesus Christ disciples is a period for prayer and reflection, commemorating his act; dying and resurrecting to save humanity for their sins.

All cities in Spain celebrate it, so Guardamar del Segura dresses up in red, purple and black, with an incense fragrance and thousands of children eyes waiting for their sweets.

If you are on holidays in Costa Blanca, we recommend you going to a procession and immerse yourself in the Spanish culture. It does not matter if you are are religious person because it is a beautiful week that invites everyone to take the path for inner growth and to connect with human kindness.

The Naranja Spain team has already book a few chair in our street; Avenida Pais Valenciano and we are looking forward to watch the beautiful representations and the sacrifice of the faithful.
