1. Guadalest Valley

It may be that Guadalest sounds familiar to you because of its beautiful castle that conquers the Guadalest Valley. A landscape nestled in a spectacular Mediterranean valley; to the north Sierra Xórta at 1126m, to the east Morro Blau at 1124m to the south Sierra de Aitana at 1558m and to the west of the most beautiful sunsets that will fall on Sierra Serella at 1361m.
The Guadalest Valley is ideal for lovers of hiking, with light routes for all users such as the recommended route around the Guadalest Reservoir or intermediate level routes such as the ascent to the Aixortà - Xortà mountain range.
Come and see the beautiful Sierra de Guadalest, which lay in Muslim times and was conquered by the Christians in the mid-13th century.
2. The Sierra de l'Ombria-Pou Clar.

The Pou Clar has provided the population of Ontinyent with water until the 1960s, and today it still supplies part of the irrigation for the Ontinyent orchard.
The Pou Clar windows open onto the walls that enclose the area, some caves excavated in the rock around the 10th-12th centuries that, it seems, served as granaries.
The main contribution of water in the Clariano River. Up the ravine the water course is intermittent. It is made up of a series of wells or puddles dug out of the rock by the erosive action of the water to which people have named.

In the picturesque town of Villajoyosa, you will discover waters where you can dive and submerge 25 meters until you reach the Bou Ferrer Wreck; a Roman merchant ship sunk in the first century after Christ.
At that time the ships were loaded with all kinds of fortunes that moved from one territory to another normally for commercial transactions and in the Bou Ferrer Wreck the ship sank with part of the wealth of some emperor of the time; Nero, Claudius or Caligula (there is debate about its accuracy)
And so in the depths of the Mediterranean, thousands of amphorae with sauce and dozens of lead ingots were found.
