The Brexit was a situation holding many British from not buying a property in Spain. But from Naranja Spain; a real estate in Guardamar del Segura, we share what the Spanish government has made clear: whatever regulation England implements, it will be no trouble for their residents to either spend their holidays, retire or carry on living permanently in Spain.
We are aware of this worry because is what we hear from some of our clients, especially noticed when right after the Brexit many British home owners sold their properties in Spain. Now we can observe the trust has come back for most of them and it is proved by the statistics from Spain's Association of Spanish Registrars proving strength of the foreign market.
Looking at only the third quarter of last year, British buyers accounted for 14.8 per cent of all foreign transactions, more than any other nation. Followed by French 8.5 per cent, then Germans 7.8 percent, the Swedes raising to 5.9 per cent, also the Belgians with 5.7 per cent, next the Italians 5.6 per cent and in seventh place Romanians accounting for 5.6 per cent of foreign property buyers in Spain.
Also our area here in Costa Blanca, Alicante is still the Spanish favourite destination for foreign property buyers. Together with Málaga in the Costa del Sol and the rest of Valencia Community remain being one of the top list for Britons to invest in real estating.
For us, it is obvious why the south Mediterranean is still leading the market: good weather, fantastic gastronomy, local people are welcoming, easy and accessible air communication, stunning beaches and a minimum of three hundred sunny days per year.
From Naranja Spain we invite you to come to Costa Blanca to enjoy beautiful Spain. And if you would to like to buy a property in Spain, we recommend you working with a real estate company so you are advised best for the legal process and any issues regarding this transaction will be solved by the agent.
We hope to hear from you soon.
